Grooving position adjustment

Grooving position adjustment

This article is applicable for Delta, Jess D, Jess and Jessie

Checking the grooving position

- Place a lens on the machine.
- Cut a grooved square K39 barcode in manual mode at 50%
- Do not perform the test on glass (mineral).

- It should be in the center of the edge. if not, adjust the values according to the displacement of the grooving.

Adjusting the groove position

- Settings modification screen, accessed by barcode K13 or following the options in the menu.

- With the arrows, move the check mark to the grooving icon

- Enter the menu in the option 4

Grooving adjustment menu

Once in the grooving menu we should adjust the position values:
-First icon is for front/back offset.
- The second icon is for depth adjustment.
- The third icon is for the grooving axis adjustment

The values to be changed will be highlighted. You can move the selection in the scroll (2) option.

- If the groove is placed towards, we need to increase the value in the box so that the groove moves backwards (for example: +0.10), we will carry out this action with the numbers keyboard in the machine front panel.

- In the same way, if the groove is backwards, we enter a negative value so that the bevel moves forward (for example: -0.10).

- If we want to modify the depth, we will modify with positive and negative values for a shallow groove or decrease for a deeper groove.

- Finally, to correct the axis of the groove, we enter positive values to adjust it in the clockwise direction or negative values for the counterclockwise direction.
Remember that after every change we must save the new values in the diskette icon (key 5)
