Adjust the position of the bevel and groove
After beveling a lens, if the position of the bevel or groove appears to be systematically too forward or
backwards, you can adjust it.
To access this menu on the beveling machine's work screen, select:
The following screen is displayed:
1 - Bevel position
Press (+) to move the bevel to the outer side of the lens.
Press ( - ) to move the bevel towards the inner face.
2 - Position of polished bevel
Press (+) to move the polished bevel to the outer side of the lens.
Press ( - ) to move the polished bevel to the inner face.
3 - Slot position
Press (+) to move the slot to the outer side of the lens.
Press ( - ) to move the slot to the inner face.
Once the modification is introduced, press red arrow to return to the work screen.
Note: Polished bevel and bevel settings should always be changed equally.
Example: by changing the bevel value of 0.03 to 0.05 (+0.02) we must change the polished bevel value from 0.00 to 0.02 (+0.02)
