Normally, the patient registers different stages.
Starting in the Reception and culminating in the Examination room.
It is understood that the patient moves on to another area once the examination is over.
It is understood by work areas, where the workforce performs different functions.
For example:
Reception --> Receptionist
Waiting room --> Auxiliary or Assistant
Pre-Diagnostic Room --> Technician, Auxiliary or Assistant
Diagnostic/Examination Room --> Doctor, Optometrist and/or Assistant
In each work area there is different equipment or machines, with the purpose of helping or facilitating the work.
